Aloha and Welcome to our gallery!
Founded in 1988, the Gallery at Ward Centre is Hawai'i's longest running contemporary retail gallery. This unique cooperative is an artists' operated/artist direct sales gallery featuring the work of fifteen of Hawai’i’s top artists working in diverse media and materials, including painting, ceramics, glass, wood, and jewelry.

Every month there is an artist-produced show of featured members displayed at the front of the gallery. In addition, the gallery often hosts one or more outstanding guest artists . Opening celebrations for new shows are held regularly. Individual artists send out invitations announcing their shows, and the gallery extends an e-vitation via its e-mail list on a monthly basis. You are welcomed to be added our email list through our contact information


With at least one member artist always present, the Gallery at Ward Centre offers the public a rare opportunity to discuss not only the local arts scene with an artist but also the artist’s work. Commissions, special requests, and projects may also be pursued with member artists. Artist portfolios are available for browsing. Artists are also happy to bring additional work to the gallery for viewing and, in some cases, to invite customers to their studios.
