The Surfing series: I usually use the computer as my sketch pad: combining images , sometimes in a 3d program , adding and editing various elements and then use the rough sketches to then start drawing on canvas or paper to begin the painting.

This particular surfing series involves combining 2 to 3 photos that I shot and repainting every pixel to make a "finished " sketch.

I will take the digital file to a commercial printer and they will put it on canvas or paper with pigment inks . I will then work over them with acrylic.

The E. V. on each print means "edition variable". Each piece varies as each piece is slightly different. Each is unique.
