| HELEN C. IAEA works in many media but finds watercolor and pastel the most rewarding. She has attended many workshops, but credits Gloria Foss and Robert E.Wood as influencing her the most. Iaea has taught at the Foss School of Fine Arts and ran the two dimensional program in the Hawai'i corrections system; currently she teaches classes at Hawaiian Graphics and the Honolulu Academy of Arts Linekona Art Center. She exhibits in Hawai'i and on the mainland and has received many awards. Her works are in numerous collections, including those of Aloha Airlines and the Hawai'i State Foundation. She was featured in the article, "Ones to Watch," in the Watercolor Magic Yearbook of 2001. |
