A native of the Philadelphia area, Linda has made Hawaii her home since 1973. She knew early in life that she needed to make art. After graduating from Ohio Wesleyan University with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Painting, Linda moved to Kauai and discovered the medium of watercolor. Painting in watercolor is fresh, spontaneous, and loose. She was hooked. Since then, her work has expanded to include acrylics on canvas, printmaking, and mixed media compositions. Her work has a bold, energetic style enticing the viewer to look deeper and to embrace its’ colors, texture, and vitality. she like to interpret her subjects in an abstract style.  Linda’s independent study in art includes painting workshops in Umbria, Italy, Baja, Mexico, Hanalei, Kauai, and Napa Valley, California. She is enrolled in ongoing studio workshops at the Academy Arts Center in Honolulu. In addition to making art, she also volunteers for the Honolulu Printmakers and the Hawaii Watercolor Society.
